toddspence: My submission to the Patriotism themed art show at Chicago’s Gallery 27 - “Gonzo Reincarnate” 11”x14” Hunter S. Thompson if he were reincarnated as an American Bald Eagle complete with his signature tinted glasses, cigarette holder, Hawaiian shirt an American flag draped around him, holding a hand gun. I thought a Ralph Steadman-esque Colorado background (Hunter S. Thompson’s resting place) would complete the image. Opening July 7th, the original and signed/numbered prints will be available at the gallery.
